MTC 26 (TREE HOTEL, NAKURU, MASAI MARA)

Day 1. Drive through rich Kikuyu agricultural land to arrive at your base hotel for lunch. Immediately after lunch, you will be transferred to your lodge for afternoon and night game viewing. This is a unique way of game viewing. There are no game drives and animals are viewed from the balcony of the lodge when they visit the floodlit waterhole below the lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Lunch & Dinner)

Day 2. Breakfast at lodge. Transfer to the base hotel and off you drive to the Great Rift Valley's Lake District arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch. Afternoon game drive around the lake. The park is home to the rare white rhino, the rare Rothschild's giraffe. It is also a bird's paradise with over 400 species recorded. The pink flamingos number in tens of thousands. The pelicans are many too. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 3. Drive to the famed Masai Mara National Reserve for lunch. After a short rest, you will be taken on an afternoon game drive. With rich fauna and flora and the fact that the reserve hosts the annual wildebeest migration, one cannot think of any other place to be other than the Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4. Whole day in the Masai Mara with extended morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 5. After breakfast, drive to Nairobi arriving soon after midday. You will be dropped off at your hotel/international airport for your departure flight.

MTC 27 (AMBOSELI AND TSAVO)

Day 1. Drive to Tsavo National Park. This park made news at the turn of the 19th century because of the man eating lions that inhabited the park. Their victims were mostly the rail workers. Arrive at lodge/camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight (Lunch & Dinner)

Day 2. Full day in Tsavo with extended morning and afternoon game drives. You have an opportunity to visit Shetani Lava formation and the ever popular Mzima Springs; the greatest source of water for Mombasa city. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 3. Drive across to Amboseli National Park on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro; the highest mountain in Africa. Lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4. Full day in Amboseli with extended morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 5. Breakfast at lodge. Immediately after breakfast, drive back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the international airport for your departure flight.

MTC 28 (AMBOSELI, TSAVO/MOMBASA)

Day 1. Drive to Amboseli on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is also endowed with a large population of elephants that roam the Masai plains. Arrive for lunch. Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Lunch & Dinner)

Day 2. Drive across Tsavo which made news because of the man eating lions at the beginning of the 19th century. These strong and vicious animals used to kill and eat the railway workers. Arrive at lodge/camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive. You also have an opportunity to visit Shetani Lava formation and the ever popular Mzima Springs; the greatest source of water for Mombasa city. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 3. Breakfast at lodge. Drive to the coastal town of Mombasa. On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel Mombasa is Kenya's second largest town and the oldest with a history stretching back almost 2,000 years. The town is a mixture of ancient and modern with cosmopolitan population blending Africa, Asia and Arabia. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 4. Full at leisure. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (Breakfast & Dinner)

Day 5. After a leisurely breakfast, you will depart Mombasa for Nairobi by road. Arrive in Nairobi late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel or at the international airport.

MTC 29 (TSAVO & NGORONGORO)

Day 2. Full day in Tsavo with extended morning and afternoon game drives. You have an opportunity to visit Shetani Lava formation and the ever popular Mzima Springs; the greatest source of water for Mombasa city. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 3. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, largely considered one of the eight wonders of modern world. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4. Descend to the floor of the crater. Spend the whole day game viewing with picnic lunch.
Return to lodge in the evening. The crater floor is rich with fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 5. Breakfast at lodge. Immediately after breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, drive to Nairobi with a brief stop over at the Namanga border post to clear with the immigration formalities. MTC 30 (TARANGIRE & NGORONGORO)

Day 1. Drive to Namanga border post. Clear immigration formalities with the Kenya/Tanzania Government officials. Drive to Arusha for lunch after which, you drive further to arrive at Tarangire National Park with a short game drive enroute. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Lunch & Dinner)

Day 2. Spend the whole day in Tarangire game viewing The giant baobab studded plains are famous for their high concentration of elephant and rich variety of bird life. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 3. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in time for lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater - including the still active volcano of Oldonyo L' Engai and the famous Olduvai Gorge makes one of the eight wonders of modern world. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and the first sight of it is breathtaking. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4. Descend to the floor of the crater. Spend the whole day game viewing with picnic lunch.

MTC 31 (LAKE MANYARA & NGORONGORO)

Day 1. Drive to Namanga border post. Clear immigration formalities with the Kenya/Tanzania Government officials. Drive to Arusha for lunch after which, you will drive further to Lake Manyara National Park renowned for its high concentration of birds, such as flamingos, and pelicans, as well as large mammals; several species of primates, hippos, elephants and the nowadays elusive tree climbing lions. Lunch at lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Lunch & Dinner)

Day 2. Entire day in Lake Manyara National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 3. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving in time for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4. Descend to the floor of the crater. Spend the whole day game viewing with picnic lunch. The floor of the crater is only 100 sq miles but is home to around 30,000 animals with a high concentration of predators. The steep walls rise 610 m and although this presents no problems for black rhino, buffalo, male elephants and antelope, giraffe and female elephant are strangely absent. Return to lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight at your lodge (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 5. Breakfast at lodge. Immediately after breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch. After lunch, drive to Nairobi with a brief stop over at the Namanga border post to clear with the immigration formalities.   1. Cancellations received in writing before May 31, 2006 will be subject to 20% of tour cost.
  2. Cancellations received in writing between June 01, 2006 - July 31, 2006 will be subject to 50% of tour cost.
  3. No refund will apply for cancellations received after August 01, 2006.

BALLOON SAFARI

Balloon Safari in the Masai Mara

Depart in the early morning hours for a balloon ride over the Mara plains, to float majestically over the teeming herds of wildlife. You will land on the Mara plains and have a sparkling wine breakfast to celebrate this unusual experience. This safari takes approximately 1.5 hours. 

The balloon safari is taken in lieu of the morning game drive.
